Yesterday the beer world lost a great. Fred Eckhardt passed away yesterday at his home. I don’t believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting Fred, but I have read his book and various articles in All About Beer and Celebrator Beer News and know of his legacy. Fred was also a BJCP judge. RIP Fred, hopefully there is Beer and Sake in the afterlife!
